Crostini

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 French baguette, sliced Crispy Baguette Base
Olive oil
Ham, Guacamole and Radish Crostini
1 Package McLean Natural Meats sliced ham
Guacamole (store bought or homemade)
Radish, thinly sliced
Microgreens (optional)
Whipped Cream Cheese, Prosciutto and Pear Crostini
1 Package McLean’s Prosciutto
1 Tbsp Honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
8 oz Cream cheese, softened
Pear, thinly sliced
Fresh basil
Turkey and Tomato Crostini
1 Package McLean Natural Meats sliced turkey
Tomato compote 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved; 1 tbsp olive oil; 1 tsp sugar; pinch of salt, 1 minced garlic clove
Fresh thyme for garnish

Directions

Baguette

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Slice baguette diagonally into ½ inch thick rounds
  3. Lightly brush both sides of each slice of bread with olive oil and arrange on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and crispy. Let cool slightly before topping.


Ham, Guacamole and Radish Crostini

  1. Spread a generous layer of guacamole onto crostini. Top with sliced ham and garnish with radish and microgreens.

Whipped Cream Cheese, Prosciutto and Pear Crostini

  1. Using a hand mixer or food processor, whip cream cheese until light and airy. Incorporate honey if desired.
  2. Spread cheese onto crostini. Top with prosciutto and pear. Garnish with a basil leaf.

Turkey and Tomato Crostini

  1. Make the tomato compote: In a 300F oven, roast tomatoes with olive oil, sugar, salt and garlic on a parchment-lined tray. Roast for 60 minutes until shriveled but still moist.
  2. Place some tomato compote on the crostini. Top with turkey and garnish with a sprig of thyme.
