Organic Pork Loin Breakfast Strips (Back Bacon)

Why is McLean Back Bacon called Breakfast Strips? The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) food labelling regulations defines Bacon as Pork cured with nitrites. Since our Back Bacon is nitrite free, we are not allowed to call it Bacon. Remember, celery extracts are nitrites, just with a sexier name! Not only is our Back Bacon organic, it is also sugar-free. There’s no better “cleaner” Back Bacon in Canada!

Organic pork, Water, Sea salt, Fruit & spice extracts, Natural smoke.
