Thanksgiving Sausage Stuffing
MCLEAN Organic Kielbasa (pork or turkey) — casings removed.
Or, MCLEAN Organic Pork, Beef or Turkey Smokies.
Chop sausage into thin slices and lightly pan sear with a touch of oil.
Bread — We love baguette and bagels! Crust and all. Chop it all up into 1” cubes.
Toss on a cookie sheet and lightly toast in the oven for a few minutes.
White wine – Glass for the chef and ½ cup for the stuffing?
Herbs — Remember the song? “Parsley, Sage, Rosemary & Thyme”
Celery finely chopped.
Onion finely chopped.
Cranberries – add a handful of dried cranberries (optional).
Toss everything in a bowl & season with salt and pepper.
Let it rest in the fridge until you’re ready to stuff the turkey.
